Mother Blessing Ceremony

A Mother Blessing is a sacred gathering of trusted and cherished female identified people in a birthing person's life.  Traditionally performed by Navajo people, the purpose of a Mother Blessing is to celebrate a birthing person's rite of passage into parenthood and strengthen their mind, body, and spirit for their upcoming journey to bring new life into this world.  We gather to bless the way ahead,  nurture spirit, recognize strength, and lift them up to enter labor, birth, and parenthood powerfully and confidently.

Doula Alicia works with birthing person  to tailor a ceremony that reflects their wishes.
